Victim Support West Lothian is the lead voluntary organisation in West Lothian helping people affected by crime. It provides emotional support, practical help and essential information to victims, witnesses and others affected by crime. The service is free, confidential and is provided by volunteers through a network of community based victim and youth justice services and court based witness services.Victim Support West Lothian

Our trained volunteers offer:

  • someone to talk to in confidence
  • information on police and court procedures, including court support
  • help in dealing with other organisations
  • links to other sources of help.
  • Free assistance and representation on CICA

Anyone affected by crime can contact us directly for help or if you report a crime to the police they will also put you in contact with us, if you want them to. Our services are free and available to everyone, whether or not the crime has been reported and regardless of when it happened. We are an independent organisation - not part of the police, courts or any other criminal justice agency. We are in contact with over one and a quarter million victims and witnesses every year.
